The local chapter of the Knights of Columbus is the St. Augustine Council #5724 , St. Bernadette/St. Rose of Lima. The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 at St. Mary's Parish in New Haven, CT, by the Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney, and it has since grown to become the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world. Our local Council was established fifty years ago and currently has over 125 members - a band of brothers dedicated to doing good in the service of God and neighbor.
We are very active in supporting our parishes and families, and helping those in need in the wider community, exemplifying our Order's principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. If you are a Catholic man interested in growing your faith and putting it into action, please consider becoming a Knight.
